Nikki Duffy

Nikki Duffy is a freelance food writer and author of The River Cottage Baby and Toddler Cookbook. She was formerly deputy editor of the award-winning magazine Waitrose Food Illustrated and wrote a weekly food column for the Guardian. Nikki is a keen advocate of breastfeeding, baby-led weaning and a seasonal, wholefood diet for children, alongside a healthy, outdoorsy lifestyle – but also believes strongly that trying to be perfect will probably send you mad and that parents should relax, trust their instincts and just do the best they can. Nikki lives in Essex with her two beautiful daughters, who wish they were allowed ketchup a bit more often.
